Christiana Bernardes

Christiana Bernardes is a complete communication professional. She is a video producer and content creator (copywriter/screenwriter/journalist), director

of photography (camera operator), audio recordist, and video editor with over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual market, including social media, TV, cinema, advertising, digital marketing, brand content, corporate videos, events, e-commerce, and e-learning. She has experience in various areas of audiovisual and has acquired knowledge in all stages of film production, which also provided her with skills in video project management. She has great ability in creative and executive production, hiring, coordination, and team direction. She creates the audiovisual project strategy from script development to content finalization and exhibition. She proposes technical and artistic solutions according to the briefing and budget. Her versatile experience allows her to work independently as a videographer, in small to medium teams, and in large-scale productions involving over 150 people.

 

Living in Lisbon, Christiana was one of the first female filmmakers (filming and editing) in Brazil's digital generation. She began her career at Rede Minas de Televisão. She worked as an assistant director, screenwriter, and producer of "Alto Falante," a weekly music program on Rede Minas de Televisão, broadcast nationally by TV Cultura SP for four years. She was also a screenwriter and producer on "Agenda," a daily live cultural program for one year. In São Paulo, she wrote, directed, produced, shot, and edited “Passe Livre,” a weekly documentary series on music that ran for four consecutive seasons on Showlivre.com, a content distributor for the UOL Portal at the time. She also worked as a screenwriter and video editor for MTV Brasil's news program.

 

Christiana has worked on major audiovisual productions for companies such as Gullane Filmes, Bossa Nova Films, Big Bonsai, Jumpcut, Polar Filmes, Truq Produções, and more. She worked as a producer on the feature film "The Best Things in the World" and the HBO series "Alice." She was the assistant director and casting coach for the web series "420." Additionally, she was a casting coach and assistant director for the short fiction film "What I Want, What You Want," which won the Best Actor award at MUBE.
