MY HEART IS LIKE IT'S RAINING
“My Heart Is Like It’s Raining” is a poetic biographical documentary about Luiz Galvão, founding member and lyricist of Novos Baianos, the most important musical group of the post-Tropicália scene in Brazil. The film unveils the poet/gardener who builds a garden nurtured with the poems from the book “Ovos Brasil.” Additionally, through archival footage, the film reveals the poetic soul of Novos Baianos. Alongside Moraes Moreira, Galvão authored 95% of the group’s hit songs. The world needs to discover one of Brazil's greatest songwriters/lyricists, celebrated by the musical artistic community but forgotten by the general public.
